Scholarship opportunities 
for entry level college students intending to pursue a career in the field of groundwater.

Several scholarships exist for those interested in a career in the field of ground water. Please review the eligibility requirements, print out and complete the application form, and mail it to the address listed in the instructions. 

Please note: By filling out one application form you will be considered for all three scholarships.

Baroid Scholarship

Baroid is the largest international supplier of drilling and well completion fluid products and services. Baroid manufactures, sells and services drilling and completion fluid products and systems for the exploration and production of water. Baroid is a supporter of groundwater education and is proud to underwrite the scholarship opportunity.

Eligibility Requirements, Deadline and Award

  • You MUST be a High School Senior intending to pursue a career in a groundwater related field.
  • Deadline: June 30th, annually
  • Award: $2,000

Thomas M. Stetson Scholarship

(Funded by Stetson Engineers Inc., San Rafael, CA) Stetson Engineers Inc. provides effective solutions to challenges in the water management field through innovative engineering, including legal and environmental services. The Thomas M. Stetson Award is given in recognition of the life-long contributions by Mr. Stetson to solving water resource conflicts and developing sustainable water management methods in the Western United States. Stetson Engineers is pleased to support the endowment used to fund the Stetson Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements, Deadline and Award

  • You MUST be a High School Senior intending to pursue a career in a groundwater related field.
  • This scholarship is only for a student attending a college or university located west of the Mississippi River.
  • Deadline: June 30th, annually
  • Award: $2,000

 Flexcon Industries Scholarship

Tom and Joe Swan created Flexcon Industries to offer both wholesale distributors and contractors a high-quality well tank with saleable features.  Flexcon is the first company to offer a stainless steel water connection on a well tank, a union connection, the first flow thru tank for constant pressure systems, and the first diaphragm composite tank.
