Stetson Engineers Inc. is a San Rafael, CA-based company that addresses challenges in water management using innovative engineering methods, legal services, and environmental services. The company effectively solves water resource conflicts and develops sustainable water management practices in the Western United States. This scholarship is in recognition of Thomas Stetson and Ali Shahroody’s lifelong dedication and commitment to solving water issues.

Flexcon Industries Scholarship
Tom and Joe Swan created Flexcon Industries to offer wholesale distributors and contractors a high-quality well tank with saleable features at a competitive price. With the help of a Dutch partner, Flamco, they developed a tank with a unique water chamber design, controlled action diaphragm (CAD) and several other features that make Flexcon tanks the preferred choice of contractors. Flexcon was the first company to introduce a stainless-steel water connection on a well tank, a union connection, the first flow-thru tank for constant pressure systems and the first diaphragm composite tank. Today, Flexcon Industries continues to be an innovator in the well tank industry, making them a reliable contractor source.
